Demo / Trial
All users who purchased NUO-STEMS 3 after 1 November 2025 will automatically get a free upgrade to NUO-STEMS 4. Just install NUO-STEMS 4 and your license will be activated automatically on the same computer where you have NUO-STEMS 3 installed.
NUO-STEMS 4 includes a demo mode that allows you to try the software before purchasing a license.
Demo Mode Limitations​
Only 20 seconds of audio is processed starting from the middle of the track. There is no limit on the number of tracks you can process in demo mode.
Traktor natively linked STEMS are not allowed in demo mode because linking short 20-sec audio tracks to full length originals doesn't make sense.
However, you can still use Legacy / Export Mode to create .stem.m4a files or DAW / Non-Traktor mode to create .wav files for testing purposes.
What You Can Do in Demo Mode​
Basically all the features of NUO-STEMS 4 are available in demo mode, except for creating Traktor natively linked STEMS.
- ✅ Create individual WAV stem files using DAW / Non-Traktor mode
- ✅ Create .stem.m4a files using Legacy / Export Mode
- ✅ Test the quality of stem separation algorithms
- ✅ Export instrumental and acapella versions (WAV or MP3)
- ✅ Use Traktor Utilities
Activating Full Version​
To unlock all features, including Traktor STEMS creation:
- Purchase a license - NUO-STEMS 4 requires a separate license (NUO-STEMS 3 licenses do not work with version 4 - see FAQ)
- Patreon subscribers - If you're a Patreon subscriber, your license will be activated automatically when you install NUO-STEMS 4.
- If you're new Patreon subscriber, go to NUO-STEMS Settings > Activation & License > link your Patreon email 🙂
